STALMIKA

Galvanized Posts

Mr Alan

We received a cooperation proposal from Mr. Alan from Ireland. The company he represents is an international player in the agriculture industry.

One of their products includes innovative solutions for cattle that improve their condition and contribute to humane breeding conditions. They deliver their products to many countries in Europe, the United States, Japan, and even Australia.

Mr. Alan was looking for a reliable and loyal partner who would be a supplier of steel components for their innovative solutions. The condition for starting cooperation was a meeting with the company owners and a presentation of production capabilities.

Challenge

After analyzing the technical documentation and the conditions in which the barriers would be used, we knew that the biggest challenges would be anticorrosive protection, the durability of welds, and so-called intermodal transport, which requires immense discipline in container loading.

Our Offer

The offer was presented during a meeting at the STALMIKA headquarters, after which our partners were invited to tour the production facility. The meeting resulted in an order of nearly 20,000 posts in the first year of cooperation.

In developing the standardization sheets, we paid particular attention to the quality of welds.

All our employees have welding certifications, and their work is controlled by a person with the highest qualifications confirmed by TUV. Producing solid posts to the standard expected by the client was, therefore, not a problem.

The high humidity, presence of ammonia, salts, and bacteriological hazards in the environment where the posts would be mounted prompted us to use fire galvanization. Exporting goods to such remote locations does not allow for complaints. Therefore, we used services from renowned galvanizing plants that have ISO quality management certificates implemented.

The Vision Became Reality

Intermodal transport combines road (truck-container) with rail and ship/ferry transport. Considering the transportation costs, our client chose this delivery method as the most economical. The ordered goods were solidly secured against multiple transshipments and the possible storm at sea.

Did we meet the partner’s expectations? Was he satisfied with the order execution? Have we proved to be a loyal and reliable supplier? Looking back, we can confidently say “YES.” Our cooperation has been continuous for six years.
